West Perth is a largely commercial inner city suburb 2 km from the CBD. Old residences have been replaced by office blocks and a large number of medical specialists with most retailers open only during weekdays with the exception of a factory outlet and the City West complex. Parliament House, Dumas House, original Perth Observatory and the Constitutional Centre of WA are also found here.
