Wedderburn is a quiet Victorian Goldfields rural service town 221 km n-w of Melbourne. Part of the ‘Golden Triangle’, it was once a very busy and rich goldmining settlement with some gold still being unearthed today. Wedderburn was established in 1850s when the gold was first discovered and now agricultural & pastoral industries support the local economy. Gold Festival (Mar), Wool Expo (Aug).
