Wardell is a pleasant Richmond River township on the Far North Coast 723 km north of Sydney. Originally a timber town called Blackwall, it is best identified by its landmark life span bridge which replaced 19th century barges & ferries transporting sugar cane and cedar. Its proximity to Ballina and Lismore is seeing rapid growth of new houses in Wardell together with its relaxing and leisurely lifestyle and excellent fishing.
