Thorngate is an inner Adelaide suburb 4 km north of the CBD. This lovely residential area which overlooks the North Adelaide Parklands, is one of the city's smallest (only 6 streets) and wealthiest suburb. Due to its size, there are no non-residential facilities here with the nearest schools and shopping area located north in Prospect. There are a number of regular buses servicing the area.
