The Channon is a charming Far North Coast hinterland village 756 km north of Sydney. Situated between Lismore (20 km south) and Nimbin (23 km north), it is famous for its unique craft market (2nd Sun each month) specializing in handcrafted goods, fashion, food stalls, tarot readings, crystal healing, buskers etc. The Channon also offers a variety of galleries, tea rooms and the historic Butterfactory Tavern. Nightcap NP (15 km north), a 8 000 ha park protecting World Heritage rainforests, Minyon Falls, Protestor’s Falls (no swimming), Whian Whian Forest and many spectacular bushwalks.
