Terang is an attractive Great Ocean Road region rural centre on the Princes Hwy. It is located 213 km s-w of Melbourne and many of its lovely avenues have been planted with deciduous trees. The area was established in 1840s and dairying eventually replaced wheat farms. Today dairying, farming and pastoral industries are the economy’s mainstays.
