Tasman Peninsula is a beautiful heritage area in SE Tasmania. It is accessed via the Frontier Peninsula at Dunalley, about 60 km east of Hobart. Nubeena is its largest town and Port Arthur, its most famous and historically important. The peninsula comprises forests, farms, dolerite cliffs, sweeping Tasman Sea views and the world’s southernmost historic gaol. The area is renowned for the spectacular Tasman NP and the region’s wines and local culinary delicacies.
