Streaky Bay is an Eyre Peninsula holiday town surrounded by beautiful coastal scenery. Located 695 km n-w of Adelaide, it was named after the streaky seaweed colours in the water. Pastoralists settled the area in 1850s followed by whalers and oyster farmers with the township proclaimed in 1872. Accommodation:
