Strathalbyn is a delightful Fleurieu
Peninsula historic town on the Angas
River 56 km s-e of Adelaide.
Originally inhabited by the Ngarrindjeri Aborigines, white
settlement began in 1830 with a number of Scottish
immigrants. Today, tourism and its role as an
important rural service centre to the surrounding
farms, orchards, vineyards and sheep & cattle
properties sustain the local economy. Collectors,
