The South West Corner of WA is a delightful region that is home to some of the world's tallest and most beautiful trees, namely the jarrah, karri, tuart and tingle species. The Valley of the Giants, near Walpole, is where the Tree Top Walk is located as well as the 25 m wide Giant Red Tingle thought to be one of the 10 largest living things on earth. The area is also home to many fine wineries, orchards, numerous national parks (Warren, Beddelup, Gloucester) and a large section of the Bibbulmun (walking) Track which covers 964 km from Kalamunda (just east of Perth) to Albany on the s-w coast. Important towns in this region include Bunbury, Collie, Donnybrook, Bridgetown, Manjimup, Kojonup and Katanning.
