Rose Bay NSW 2029
Rose Bay is a harbourside Sydney suburb 7 km east of the CBD. It is noted for its exclusive real estate, shopping, restaurants and schools as well as its many sporting activities. Royal Sydney Golf Club is located within the suburb while historic White City tennis courts dating back to 1920s are nearby. Rose Bay offers many water sports (sailing, jet skiing, canoeing, swimming) and it was here that Qantas’s flying boat services between Australia and England began (1938). These have since been replaced by the smaller seaplanes which make regular return trips to Palm Beach and Gosford. Rose Bay is surrounded by other upmarket suburbs such as Double Bay, Woollahra, Bellevue Hill, Vaucluse and famous Bondi Beach.
