Randwick is a large residential Sydney suburb 8 km s-e of the CBD and home to famous Randwick Racecourse. A large number of students reside in this area as the University of NSW is located in neighbouring Kensington. Queens Park, Clovelly West and St Pauls also surround Randwick with Coogee beach just 2 km to the east. Regular bus services run from the city centre.
