Nymboida is an historic Far North Coast hinterland village 621 km north of Sydney. Established in 1830s with a coach staging post, the fully renovated Nymboida Coaching Inn Tel (02) 6649 4126, this pretty settlement on the Nymboida River has become a highly popular outdoor activities venue. The pumping of water from the Nymboida River into the Goolang Creek by a hydro-electric power station, has provided one of Australia’s most exciting whitewater rafting and canoeing courses. Surrounded by several national parks, Nymboida also offers excellent bushwalking, abseiling & trail rides as well as a large platypus community.
