North Brother (487 m) is a majestic Mid North Coast mountain within the Dooragan NP. Situated about 360 km n-e of Sydney, North Brother offers spectacular views north over Laurieton, Dunbogan, North Haven, Port Macquarie & Seal Rocks. The area is popular with walkers and para-gliders. North Brother, together with its siblings, Middle & South Brothers, was named by Capt Cook in 1770 when he spotted them from the coast.
