Established in 1837, the suburb is an eclectic mix of grand Georgian mansions and simple labourers' cottages and abundant in stylish galleries, boutiques, cafes, restaurants & historic hotels. North Adelaide is also home to the Memorial Hospital, Women's & Children's Hospitals and several colleges and churches. There is a railway station and Metro bus services.
