The Beaches: Main, Beilbys & Shelley.
Lions Riverfront Walk: from Vee Wall, via
the 'Inner Harbour' foreshore (the site of the
original Nambucca village where there was a shipyard
& timber mills) to Gordon Park (a rainforest
preserve with a scenic walking trail). The 'Graffiti
Gallery' (Vee Wall breakwater) created by locals
& tourists alike is now an important part of
the town's character due to the effort and often
talent involved.
Rotary Lookout & Captain Cook Lookout
(Parkes St): excellent coastal & river views and
if lucky, also dolphin & whale spotting. There are two old
graves on the hill above Rotary Lookout and also a
small pioneer cemetery in Shelley Beach
Rd.
Headland Historical Museum, Headland Reserve:
great collection of historic memorabilia &
Aboriginal artifacts. Open (2pm-4pm) Wed/
weekends.
Mosaic Sculpture, Bowra St: depicts a lovely
seascape.
