Morgan, also known as North West Bend, sits on a bend in the Murray River, 161 km n-e of Adelaide in SA's Riverland district. This historic port was originally occupied by the Naralte Aborigines with white settlement beginning from 1850s. Named after the Chief Secretary at the time, Morgan became SA's 2nd busiest port for some years. Today it is a quiet and peaceful holiday town.
