Middle Brother Mountain

Middle Brother (558 m) is a Mid North Coast mountain & locality 340 km n-e of Sydney. Situated south of Middle Brother NP & State Forest, vast Watson Taylor Lake is found just to the east. Middle Brother, together with its siblings, North and South Brothers, was named by Capt Cook in 1770 when he spotted them from the coast. It is also home to one of the state’s largest blackbutt trees, the Bird Tree.
