Lismore sits in Northern NSW on the Bruxner Hwy and Wilsons River 860 km north of Sydney. Original inhabitants were the Bundjalung Aborigines with European settlement beginning in 1843. The town was named after a Lismore in Scotland. Lantern Parade (June), Northern Rivers Herb Festival (Aug).
