Kettering is an attractive SE Tasmanian coastal town 32 km south of Hobart. Sitting on the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, this important service centre is also the launching point for North Bruny Island just 5 km to its east. Kettering was settled in the early 1800s by sealers, whalers & timbergetters and is today known for its excellent apple, pear & cherry orchards.
