Hawkesbury Region NSW
The Hawkesbury is a beautiful region that follows the path of the scenic Hawkesbury River. It encompasses the Ku-ring-gai Chase NP, a mere 26 km north of Sydney and the Wollemi NP located 100 km n-w of Sydney. Also included in this area are the historic Macquarie towns of Richmond, Windsor & Ebenezer which preserve some of the country’s oldest buildings.
