Dunalley is a SE Tasmanian fishing village 57 km east of Hobart. It is also an unusual place in that it is located on a narrow isthmus separating two peninsulas (Forestier and Tasman) from the Tasmanian mainland. The Denison canal has an hydraulic swing bridge for road traffic which also allows easy boat access.
