Dalkeith is an upmarket Swan River foreshores suburb 8 km s-w of Perth. Named after an early cottage (1833) in the area, Dalkeith and its sister suburb, Peppermint Grove are full of elegant homes, waterfront mansions and offer stunning waterfront views. The suburb was established in 1897 and the historic Sunset Hospital (1904) has been heritage-listed.
