Culcairn is a quiet Riverina service town on the Olympic Hwy 520 km s-w of Sydney. European settlers arrived in 1830s and between 1862-65 the district was terrorized by famous bushranger, Dan ‘Mad Dog’ Morgan. Culcairn is named after a Scottish village and is surrounded by rich agricultural and pastoral lands. Plentiful water supplies are provided by an underground artestian basin which account for the towns leafy streets and lush parks.
