Coast South of Sydney
The South Coast
region is dividied into four sections -
Illawarra, Shoalhaven,
Eurobodalla and Sapphire Coast.
Beginning at Sydney’s Royal NP
and finishing at Eden
(480 km south of Sydney), the area comprises pristine
bays and beaches and a hinterland boasting over 30
national/marine parks and reserves. The many seaside
towns and historic villages along the way are famous
for their various cultural festivals, galleries and
museums, wineries, fresh seafood and cheese making.
Watersports, bushwalking and dolphin and whale
watching are popular activities.
