Claremont is an affluent Freshwater Bay suburb 9 km s-w of Perth city centre. Together with neighbouring Dalkeith, Nedlands and Peppermint Grove, it sits in the heart of Perth’s ‘Millionaire’s Row’ with magnificent waterfront properties and the city’s most upmarket retail area on Bay View Terrace. Established in 1890s, Claremont covers an area of 3.6 sq km and is also home to Claremont Showgrounds, Museum of Childhood & Claremont Museum.
