Richmond Park Sanctuary (Jabiru Geneebeinga
Wetlands), cnr West St & Queensland Rd: native
bird & wildlife sanctuary. It is also home to the
Pacific Coast Railway Society Inc which runs a
mini railway.
Nearby:
Aboriginal Rock Carvings: Take the Tenterfield
Road (the Bruxner Hwy) 20 km out of town and turn
right to Dryaaba. The carvings are located only about
200 metres on the right. There is also gold &
quartz fossicking and freshwater fishing on
Cooke's Weir and the Richmond River.
