Cape Borda Lighthouse sits on Kangaroo Island's west coast 88 km west of Kingscote and 252 km s-w of Adelaide. Built in 1858, it is SA's only square stone lighthouse and the 3rd oldest remaining in the state. It was automated in 1989 but is one of only three Australian lighthouses that still retain a Deville lantern room.
