Bridport is a small coastal holiday town on Anderson Bay in Tasmania’s NE region 268 km north of Hobart. European settlement began in 1830s and has been sustained over the years with a healthy fishing industry, which more recently has also included scallops, lobsters and farmed trout. Bridport’s tourist industry continues to grow with its excellent sea and river fishing and beautiful beaches acting as natural drawcards. Bridport Triathalon (Jan).
