Bridgewater is an historic Adelaide Hills town 21 km s-w of Adelaide. Settled in 1840s, it was named after the English birthplace of flour mill owner, John Dunn. This charming village has a decidedly English feel to it with many beautiful gardens and its lovely old watermill.

Historic Bridgewater: includes Millers Cottage (1860), Bridgewater Mill, Bridgewater Inn, General Store (1877), Old Police Station. Wineries and gardens in profusion.
